Our Mission
Our mission is to transform our South Bronx community, by mobilizing people,
other resources and generating programs that will meet needs and have
a positive impact.
The Greater Universal Community Development Corporation was incorporated
on April 1998 as a not-for-profit in New York State. We saw the need to
organize to protect the interest of the church in the future development
of the community. We wanted to be in a position to have a voice in the community's
development and to be able to meet some of the needs of the new people who
will be coming to our area. We received our 501c3 status in 2000.
